If morrowind would of released back then along side daggerfall, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Everyone who liked it, liked it for things that morrowind does a billion times better. That's all i can come up with because after playing this game for atleast 20 hours, it is beyond me how anyone can like this. My theory as to why this game is considered good today at all is because someone looked it up and saw that its map was bigger than any es and that it technically had more skills than any of them, and based their ranking of it solely on that. Because in this case that's the same as saying a dish made by Gordon Ramsay tasting better than a pile a dog shit is also subjective. And don't tell me it's just MY opinion and that it's subjective. It's not the best elder scrolls, and its not even a good game period. You have to really lie to yourself and really use your imagination and pretend this game is not just a repetitive boring mess to find any enjoyment out of it. You have to be a complete masochist to find enjoyment in this game. And almost every quest just sends you to a dungeon that takes hours to complete. It's a bunch of towns that look the same, and a bunch of dungeons that look the same, and that's it.
